Here I am at dinner at Spice Market at the W Midtown Atlanta hotel. The dress I bought at a boutique when I was at Cap Ferret this past August. I love the details with a gold string strap which comes together in the center with pink tassels. The shoes are gold strappy sandals from Zara and the clutch is Clare Vivier.

From the Runway: J.Mendel Spring 2014
Known for creating luxurious feminine and romantic looks, Gilles Mendel took on his spring collection on a different route. Down to the south pacific, to be exact, as brought by a plane crash. The designer was inspired by Serge Gainsbourg's "Cargo Cult," a song depicting a man's search from his lost love, brought down by a plane crash perhaps caused by the indigenous people of the pacific islands. The real islander can be seen in green and gold jacquard. Some dresses and blouses were a patchwork of lace and perforation. Overall, the looks were still pure of beautiful J.Mendel femininity, with lots of lace and luxe fabrics- including even a little of that famous Mendel fur.

From the Runway: Delpozo Spring 2014
For Delpozo's second New York debut, Josep Font presented the Madrid-based collection with a strong femininity with true glamour that is sometimes lost in this modern world. Delpozo's second season revival of the historical Spanish brand was inspired from its home and inspired by a portrait of a Gypsy by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. The colors were beautiful pastels to a creamy orange and popping pink, to even a little black. Florals were paired perfectly with gingham or embellished blouses. Voluminous skirts, floral dresses, and intricate embellishments on silk blouses or knits are perfect for those special events. But Font didn't neglect the thought of dinner pants with romantic blouses, or a little daytime dress-up with a short floral skirt, paired with a gingham top, or maxi dresses. Delpozo has proven to be wearable couture.

From the Runway: Nonoo Spring 2014
Light and airy was the name of the game at Nonoo's spring collection for 2014. Plenty of pastel colors filled the room in a multitude of fabrics. A pale blue long blazer with lame arms over silk trousers in the same color started the show. Then bright yellow, florals, and painted abstracts followed. Misha Nonoo's first runway show certainly gave the audience a breath of fresh air.

Cap Ferret
This summer, I was able to spend my holidays in Cap Ferret, which is on the west coast of France, close to Biarritz. Here I am out for a pre-dinner cocktail in a Club Monaco dress (which has really nice leather trimmed detailing on the pockets), French Sole silver ballerinas, a blush pink Clare Vivier clutch and Ralph Lauren metal rim sunglasses. Below, find photos from Cap Ferret and the bassin. I hope everyone had nice summer holidays, as well!

Something Blue
It's finally warm enough here that skirts and dresses can be taken out of the closet! Normally, the blue tweed skirt I would wear with darker colors for fall and winter, but the white sweater is refreshing for spring or summer. Geometric lines are very "in" right now, but I wanted to make the style my own with a nice tied cinched belt and ballerinas.

Christian Dior Resort 2014
I love that Raf Simons brought the classic "lady" back to Dior. In the resort 2014 collection, he restructured the classic silhouettes into asymmetrical forms and played beautifully with sheers stripes, lace, and lots of color. I love the way he put lace, layered over striped bandeaus or gently place a stripe of it on a white dress with other printed fabrics. My favorite little detail is the crossed scarf on a v-neck blouse or dress.

Celebrating May at Monet's
Today is the the first day of May, and I for one, could not be happier! I love May, not only because it is my birthday month, but also I really feel the beautiful weather of spring going into summer! Unfortunately, it has been a cold spring here in Paris and we still have to wear tights with our colorful spring skirts. Monet's gardens are so beautiful! There must have been every type of flower throughout and the colors were so vibrant! It was the perfect day trip to bring in the new month. Happy May to everyone!
Skirt: J.Crew, Shirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Trench: Club Monaco, Purse: Yves Saint Laurent (before it became Saint Laurent),
Ballerinas: Repetto, Scarf: Club Monaco, Sunglasses: See Eyewear

Best friends
There is nothing more fabulous than two fashionistas laughing it up.
Last weekend, I went to Madrid to visit my best friend. It's so lovely there; sun, flowers, and that amazing iberico jamon! I added a nice pop of color with the new Repetto orange flats and something cool with the clear glasses from a glasses maker called See in United States. My coat is Club Monaco. My friend is wearing a Claudie Pierlot jacket with a cute bow belt and Claudie Pierlot booties with the ever so classic Chanel 2.55.

Miss Wu
Jason Wu created a great new contemporary collection called Miss Wu, inspired by my favorite era - the '60s! I love the shift dresses, full skirts, and great prints! I'm so happy for comeback of the '60s! The collection is sold exclusively at Nordstrom.

Classic black wool trench
The trench coat never goes out of style. This one I'm wearing is a wool and cashmere blend from the original trenchmaker Burberry, great for cold weather. Now living in Paris, I need a coat from October to April and this one goes with almost anything. It's also great from day to night. This coat has prooven to be a great investment.
I'm wearing it with grey suede booties from Elizabeth Stuart, an YSL bag, and a scarf from Nordstrom.
